HTML5 vs Flash

Write a blog explaining the controversy...

Alright then, well the main thing that's controversial is the fact that Flash isn't really integrated with your browser, it sits on top of your browser doing all this nice fancy stuff.

On top of all that it's this really big argument about open and closed system and how Apple is trying to encourage an "open" system when they actually have closed their doors to flash which is really hypocritical when you think about it.

Explain what Flash is and your comprehension of HTML5...

Well, from what I know, Flash is basically an Adobe program that you can use to create animations, stream videos, create fancy looking websites, among other things. It's very useful and is a really big part of our technology in our present generation.

HTML5 is basically designing with code. You don't have the need of a program sitting on top of your browser to see an animation or design, you can design it using code. It's a lot more than that, but that's pretty much the basis.

My thoughts...

Well, I'm personally not for or against either. It's more so which can get the job done better with the least amount of resources used. Flash has been around for a while and has progressed pretty well as far as I know. So you pretty much have to ask the question "How far can you take HTML5?"

I'm excited to see the advancements they do with HTML5 and how far you can push it and how you can actually incorporate it into an actual design and not only make it 100% functional, but 100% awesome.
